Aashiqui is a 1990 Indian Hindi musical romantic drama film directed by Mahesh Bhatt. It stars Rahul Roy, Anu Aggarwal, and Deepak Tijori in pivotal roles. The film was known for its music, composed by Nadeem–Shravan, and established their careers as well as that of singer Kumar Sanu and music label T-Series. The film received positive reviews and was a commercial success, and the soundtrack album was highly acclaimed. Aashiqui is the first installment of the Aashiqui series.
