Son of Sardaar is a 2012 Indian Hindi-language action comedy film directed by Ashwni Dhir. The film is a remake of the 2010 Telugu film Maryada Ramanna directed by S. S. Rajamouli. It features Ajay Devgn, Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha, and Juhi Chawla in lead roles. Salman Khan also appears in a cameo role. The film was released on November 13, 2012. It competed with the Yash Raj film Jab Tak Hai Jaan but managed to do good business at the box office worldwide.
